The 47th Annual Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg Summer Festival - Four Fun Days!

47th Summer Festival

The Summer festival on the campus of Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg has been a major fund-raising effort for the hospital for 47 years. Each year, more than 300 dedicated hospital volunteers, auxiliary members and employees work tirelessly to create an event that is a treat for the whole family, combining free nightly entertainment, a variety of festival foods, a wide selection of amusement rides for children of all ages, and a long-standing tradition of beautiful, unique crafts and artwork.

Wednesday, Aug. 13 ­ - 5-10:30 p.m.

5 p.m. ­ Opening
7-10 p.m. ­ King Henry and the Showmen
This is the music you know you want to hear. King Henry and the Showmen play swing, big band, rock, Latin and love songs. They're a perennial favorite with festival visitors.

Thursday, Aug. 14 ­ - 5-10:30 p.m.

7-10 p.m. ­ The Cramer Brothers
This is contemporary country, classic country and bluegrass music for everyone.

Friday, Aug. 15 - ­ 5-10:30 p.m.

7-10 p.m. ­ The Mudflaps
Enjoy the oldies!

Saturday, Aug. 16 - ­ Noon-10:30 p.m.

7-10 p.m. ­ Jesse Wade Gang
Listen to the sounds of traditional rockin’ country.

Special Events at the 47th Annual Lehigh Valley Hospital- Muhlenberg Summer Festival

Cash Raffle - Buy your $1 ticket to win cash prizes totaling over $2,000. First prize is $1,000, and you could be the winner - but only if you purchased your ticket. The drawing is held at the close of the Summer Festival.

Crafts - Three huge tents of juried crafts featuring local artists

Rides and Games – Pay one price ride special $15 Wednesday and Thursday (5-9 p.m.) and $10 Saturday (1-3 p.m.). Thrilling rides and games by Goodtime Amusements

Kiddie Land - Just for the little ones, a magic place where they can enjoy face painting, a duck pond, sand art, and much more.

Bingo - Play to your heart's content during the festival. Cash prizes under the tent.

Bake Booth - Enjoy homemade goodies from the kitchens of our devoted members of the Auxiliary of Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, the Summer Festival Board, Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg employees and other friends of the hospital.

Festival Foods - No need to cook dinner - the festival features all varieties of scrumptious foods.

Attic Treasures and 2-Penny Candy - The Bethlehem Chapter of the Auxiliary of Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg offers a unique array of handmade items and other treasures.

MORA Club Book and Plant Sale - The Men of Retirement Age book and plant sale means good deals on great books and beautiful plants. Stop by, browse and buy.
